Brief introduction of lifting
Applicant: Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province
Hanging is a kind of space hanging movement which is purely performed by body language. As a personal exercise method and folk juggling, it has a long history. According to the memory of the late old artist, Diao Diao appeared in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province and Anqing, Anhui Province about 200 years ago. In the beginning, it was just a juggling of the artists in the river and lake. There were some names such as "three hanging", "single hanging on the bar" and so on. The movements were relatively simple. Jin Axiang, the first famous crane lifter in Shaoxing City in the late Qing Dynasty, was a strong man who made a living by rocking a boat. In constant exploration and practice, he created complex crane lifters from "Eighteen cranes" to "forty-nine cranes". Later, through the innovation and development of generations, he formed the superb crane skills of "seventy-two cranes" and even "one hundred and eight cranes".
Diao Diao, as an adventure program of temple fair folk activities, has great attraction and is loved by the masses. In the late years of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, Diao Diao was borrowed by Mulian opera and Shaoxing opera "Ping'an opera", and became one of the most wonderful programs - "men Diao". Lu Xun's "female Diao" has a specific description of the wonderful performance of male Diao. At that time, Diao Diao artists were invited by many troupes to perform extra programs to attract audiences, so as to ensure the box office revenue of the whole performance.
In the 1950s, the inheritors of the lifting technique developed it to the sports field and performed in provincial, municipal and national sports meetings for many times. In 1953, he represented East China to participate in the national national national sports performance and competition conference and won the gold medal, which was praised by he long Tongzhi.
Diao Diao is the original creation of Shaoxing folk artists. Its movements are difficult, skillful and full of life interest. At the same time, it is very thrilling and exciting. It has strong ornamental value and rich in the local cultural characteristics of Jiangnan Water Town. Diao Diao has a high reference value for the study of Shaoxing and Jiangnan folk opera and aerial acrobatics.
Today, due to the great changes in the form and content of folk activities of temple fair, the main carrier of Diao Diao performance, the number of Diao Diao performance is decreasing. The third generation of Diao Diao has passed 70. Although there is a fourth generation, the family inheritance chain is relatively weak, and it is urgent to cultivate new inheritors.
