Introduction to Sichuan Qingyin
Applicant: Chengdu Art Theatre, Sichuan Province
Sichuan Qingyin once had the nickname of "sing Xiaoqu". Because it was often accompanied by Yueqin or pipa, it was also called "sing Yueqin" and "sing Pipa". It was formed in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, and has been spread in the Han areas of Sichuan Province for a long time, with a history of more than 300 years.
During the performance of Sichuan Qingyin, an actor with tanban percussion stand singing, accompanied by a zither player or a small band, sometimes as a helper. In addition to the single style, Sichuan Qingyin also has "Yuediao", "Beigong" and "matoudio". Among them, there are many folk tunes outside the province, such as "Wuxi scenery", "Macheng song", "Wuchang tune", "frontier tune", "Fengyang tune", "Shaan Wugeng", "tanhuang tune", "Sizhou tune" and "northeast wind". They also absorb Sichuan Folk songs, such as "counting toads", "green leaves" and "ten fans" In addition, "anti xipi" and "Qiju and a half" of Sichuan Opera, as well as "Yuediao", "Pingban", "banbianyue" and "Duozi" of Sichuan Yangqin are added, totaling more than 200 tunes.
Sichuan Qingyin has more than 100 repertoires, including traditional works such as nun's downhill, Zhaojun's leaving the fortress, Guanwang temple, Duanqiao, sifan, Beiqiu and catching Sanlang alive, as well as new works such as tenant's suffering, shuangtanmei and Xiaofu, which came into being under the influence of new culture after the May 4th movement. At present, Qingyin in Sichuan is on the verge of extinction due to its gradual decline and lack of successors.
