Introduction to Xinjiang Songs:
Applicant: Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region
Xinjiang Quzi is a kind of local quyi with unique style, commonly known as "xiaoquzi". It was born and formed in the late Qing Dynasty. After Shaanxi Quzi (Yuediao), Lanzhou GuZi (guzidiao), Qinghai Pingxian (pingdiao) and other folk songs in Northwest China were introduced into Xinjiang, they were influenced by the Chinese dialect tone in Xinjiang, and integrated with Xinjiang multi-ethnic music He gradually formed Xinjiang songs. This kind of folk art created and performed by Han, Hui, Xibo and other ethnic groups is mainly spread in eight counties and cities of Changji Prefecture, Urumqi, Shihezi, Shawan, Yining, Huocheng, Chabuchar in Northern Xinjiang, Hami, Balikun in eastern Xinjiang and Yanqi in southern Xinjiang. The performance is performed by many people with Sanxian, erhu, Banhu and Lingling accompaniment. The singing music is very rich.
Xinjiang opera is the crystallization of multi-ethnic art fusion, which is welcomed and loved by the masses. In the long-term inheritance and development, it has played an important role in the inheritance of traditional culture and moral education of the popular ethnic groups. The existence of Xinjiang Quzi strongly proves that Xinjiang has been developed and constructed by people of all ethnic groups since ancient times, and the colorful culture and art here are also created and developed by people of all ethnic groups.
With the rapid development of social economy, the audience of Xinjiang music is gradually decreasing, and the living environment is becoming increasingly narrow. Some accomplished music artists are old and gradually stop singing activities. Some artists have died one after another, and the phenomenon of lack of successors is becoming increasingly obvious. Therefore, some singing and performance skills are difficult to be inherited. It is urgent to rescue and protect the endangered Xinjiang Quzi.
