Xiamen International Trust Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xiamen International Trust) is a non bank financial institution with legal personality approved by China Banking Regulatory Commission. Xiamen International Trust and investment company, the predecessor of the company, was established in January 1985 by Xiamen Special Economic Zone Finance Company under Xiamen Finance Bureau. In August 2007, a new financial license was issued with the approval of China Banking Regulatory Commission. At present, the company's registered capital is 1.6 billion yuan (including foreign exchange capital of 15 million US dollars), and its shareholders are Xiamen Jincai Investment Co., Ltd. (80%), Xiamen Jianfa Group Co., Ltd. (10%) and Xiamen Port Holding Group Co., Ltd. (10%), all of which are state-owned enterprises in Xiamen.

Historical evolution

January 1985

Xiamen International Trust and investment company, the predecessor of the company, was established by Xiamen Special Economic Zone Finance Company under Xiamen Finance Bureau.

August 2007

With the approval of China Banking Regulatory Commission, the company obtained a new financial license and changed its name to Xiamen International Trust Co., Ltd.

February 2008

Approved by CBRC, new financial license was issued through "re registration".

June 2009

According to the resolution of the shareholders' meeting, the registered capital of the company was increased to RMB 1 billion, and the two shareholders contributed in proportion.

December 2012

The shareholder structure and shareholding ratio of the company are as follows: Xiamen Jincai Investment Co., Ltd. holds 80% of the shares; Xiamen Jianfa Group Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Port Holding Group Co., Ltd. each holds 10% of the shares. The three shareholders are large state-owned enterprise groups in Xiamen.

June 2013

After the approval of Xiamen banking regulatory bureau and the corresponding amendment of the articles of association, the registered capital of the company was changed from 1 billion yuan to 1.6 billion yuan, and the three shareholders increased the capital of the company according to the proportion of equity.
