Hexian rural credit cooperatives was founded in the early 1950s. With the development of the people's Republic of China, Hexian rural credit cooperatives from small to large, from weak to strong, has gone through a tortuous, difficult and brilliant road of entrepreneurial development. In December 2005, Hexian rural credit cooperative association was established by unifying the legal person with the county as the unit, which is also the only financial institution with legal person qualification in Hexian county.

For half a century, Hexian rural credit cooperatives have always been committed to supporting "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" and wholeheartedly serving the broad masses of farmers and customers. In addition to the traditional deposit and loan business, Hexian rural credit cooperatives have actively expanded service areas, innovated service varieties, improved service functions, issued bank debit cards (Jinlong cards), and launched micro credit loans and guaranteed loans (including joint guarantee loans) for farmers New types of loans, such as mortgage loans, real estate and other mortgage (pledge) loans, student loans, housing mortgage loans, laid-off reemployment loans; agency of all kinds of payments; agency of bond trading, bond repurchase, bill discount, rediscount business and other investment and financing business.

Development experience

At present, Hexian rural credit cooperative association has 10 departments, including a business department, 15 credit cooperatives, 18 branches and 6 savings offices, with a total of 40 business outlets. The business organizations are all over the county, with scientific and reasonable layout and complete service functions. At present, there are 404 on-the-job employees, and more than 41% of them have college degree or above. As of the end of November 2008, Hexian rural credit cooperative association has a deposit of 2.51 billion yuan, a loan of 1.57 billion yuan, and the balance of deposits and loans ranks first among all financial institutions in the county. It is a rapidly growing local financial institution. More than 80% of the loans are used for "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", which has played an irreplaceable role in the development of rural economy in Hexian County, and has become the real main force of rural finance and the best financial link to contact farmers.
