Wanglanzhuang Town, belonging to Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Fengnan District, bordering Huanggezhuang town and jianzigu Township in the East, liushuluo town in the south, dongtianzhuang Township and Hanfeng town in Hangu administrative district in the west, and Tangfang town in the north, with an administrative area of 86.5 square kilometers.
In May, 1946, it belonged to six districts of Fengnan County; in May, 1986, wanglanzhuang township was abolished and changed to wanglanzhuang town; in November, 1992, biwuzhuang township was merged. As of June 2020, wanglanzhuang town has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages, and the people's Government of wanglanzhuang town is located at No.1 Xinglan road.

Historical evolution
According to the records of Fengrun county annals by Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, wanglanzhuang was an important town in the south of Fengrun in Qing Dynasty.
In May 1946, it belonged to six districts of Fengnan county.
It was liberated in 1948.
In 1950, it belonged to three districts of Fengnan county.
In May 1953, it belonged to wanglanzhuang Town, jiangjunzhuang Township, henggu Township, biwuzhuang Township and Zhuaxianzhuang Township in three districts of Fengnan county.
In August 1958, it belonged to Tangfang people's commune.
In June 1961, it belonged to wanglanzhuang people's commune under the jurisdiction of Tangfang Working Committee.
In March 1984, the people's commune was abolished and wanglanzhuang Township and biwuzhuang Township were established.
In May 1986, wanglanzhuang township was abolished and wanglanzhuang town was replaced.
In November 1992, biwuzhuang township was incorporated into the city.
