Mochou Lake Street

Mochou Lake Street is located in the northeast of Jianye District, Nanjing city. It is named after Mochou Lake in its jurisdiction. In 2012, Binhu street and Nanhu street were abolished and Mochou Lake Street was established.

Nanhu street was set up in 1984 and Shuiximen street was merged in 1985. In 1996, it covers an area of 4 square kilometers and has a population of 63000. It is divided into two streets. In 2004, Binhu sub district office was located in No. 54 fengqiyuan, with an area of 2.4 square kilometers and a population of 44955. It has jurisdiction over 9 communities including Mochou Lake, Hanzhongmen, yulanli, Beiwei Road, Zhaoyuan, Fuyuan, Mingyuan, fengqiyuan and jiangdongmen. Nanhu sub district office is located in No. 2 Nanhu Road, with an area of 1.9 square kilometers and a population of 55938. In 2008, the street area of Binhu was 2.4 square kilometers, the registered residence population was 43968, and 8 communities were controlled. The area of Nanhu street is 1.9 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 49018 people, with 9 communities.
