It is a municipal industrial zone approved by Shanghai municipal government in August 1995. Located in Minhang District, Shanghai, it covers an area of 17.88 square kilometers.

The people's Government of Minhang District authorizes the Management Committee of Shanghai Xinzhuang Industrial Zone to be responsible for the development and construction, social affairs and administration of the area; Shanghai Xinzhuang Industrial Zone Economic and Technological Development Co., Ltd. is specifically responsible for the investment, development and construction. With the joint efforts of the builders and investors, Xinzhuang Industrial Zone has entered a mature development period and formed a healthy and harmonious development atmosphere. At present, it has become one of the preferred places for foreign investors to enter Shanghai and the Chinese market.

In May 2020, it will be selected as the civilized community of Shanghai from 2018 to 2019.

Three kilometers away from Xinzhuang station of Metro Line 1, Xinmin light rail (line 5) has two stations in the industrial zone, Yindu Road station and Zhuanqiao station. Chunshen station of rail transit line 22 (Jinshan branch line) is only 0.8 km away from the producer services gathering area. The Shanghai Hangzhou passenger dedicated line is about 3 km away from the industrial zone.

High speed and national highway

Three kilometers away from Xinzhuang overpass, Xinzhuang overpass is connected with three expressways (Huning, Huhang, Hujia), three national highways (312, 318, 320) and the inner, middle and outer ring roads of Shanghai. The off ramp of Jiamin expressway, which starts from A15 Airport Expressway in the south, is located on Yuanjiang road in the south of the industrial zone. Park transportation

In order to facilitate the employees of enterprises in the park to and from work, the industrial park is equipped with commuter buses to and from Yindu Road subway station, which runs every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes at ordinary times. 1. The planning of Xinzhuang Industrial Zone is reasonable and the supporting facilities are perfect. "Eight connections and one leveling" of roads, water, electricity, gas, steam and communication have been basically realized in the area. Electric power: it is a part of Shanghai power grid with stable power.

In Xinzhuang Industrial Zone, two 220000v substations, five 35000v substations, one 220000v substation and three 35000v substations are under planning.

Tap water: it is supplied by Minhang water supply Co., Ltd. the water intake is in the upper reaches of Huangpu River. The current water supply is 670000 m3 / D, and the water quality meets the national drinking water hygiene standard gb5749-85.

Drainage (rainwater): Xinzhuang Industrial Zone is the highest part of Shanghai. The drainage system is connected with six crisscross rivers in the industrial zone and flows into the Huangpu River. In the rainy season and tropical storm season, the drainage is fast and smooth. According to historical records, there is no record of flooding in this area in a hundred years.

Sewage discharge: it is included in the North sewage discharge project of Shanghai, with a daily treatment capacity of 140000 tons. According to Shanghai local standard "integrated wastewater discharge standard" (gb31 / 199-1997). Xinzhuang Industrial Sewage and domestic sewage implementation of three standards.

Natural gas: double gas sources of East China Sea and west east gas transmission are used, with ring network supply, and the supply capacity is 20000 m3 / h.

Steam: there are two centralized heat supply stations. Xinzhuang Industrial Zone is the only one with heat supply station among the nine municipal industrial zones in Shanghai. The supply capacity is 100-135 T / h. now the heat supply station has been able to supply steam with pressure of 1.0-1.3 MPa and temperature of 200-280 ° C to users for 24 hours.

Communication: there are 32000 telephones with a total capacity of 100000. There are satellite earth stations in the region, which provide telephone, television, Telegraph and other communication services at home and abroad. Broadband network can be laid according to the requirements of enterprises (optical cable or copper cable).

Roads: there are 42 vertical and horizontal roads in the industrial zone, the main roads are 45 meters, and the Central Avenue --- Zhongchun road is 70 meters wide.

In order to continuously adjust the industrial structure and improve the industrial level, the industrial zone is planning to build producer service industry cluster (temporary name). The cluster area is located in the south of Jindu road and the west of Huaning Road, covering an area of about 3000 mu. Flat panel display industry base

In 2005, Shanghai flat panel display industry base was established; in 2007, the national (Shanghai) flat panel display industry park was established. In 2009, after restructuring, the original Shanghai radio and television NEC project was transferred by China National Aeronautical Technology Import and Export Corporation and renamed as Shanghai AVIC optoelectronics Co., Ltd., which has now resumed normal operation.

New space technology zone

The space new area is the seat of Shanghai Institute of space technology (also known as Shanghai Space Administration), covering an area of 1120 mu, with a planned total building area of 350000 square meters. The construction project of the new area is implemented in two phases. The first phase covers an area of about 430 mu, mainly for the headquarters, Propulsion Institute, Electronics Institute and Foundation Institute of Shanghai Institute of space technology.
