Lunhe Town, belonging to hailun City, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of hailun city. It borders Fengshan Township in the East, Yongfu town in the south, Shuren Township in Mingshui county and Xinghua town in Qinggang County across Tongken River in the west, and Baixiang town in the north. The town government is located at 1 Jianshe street. The area is 196.77 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
Lunhe town is named after hailun river.
Qing Dynasty Guangxu 33 (1907), for the twelve well village.
In the first year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty (1909), Shuangcheng Town was set up, belonging to hailun Zhili hall.
In 1913, Lunhe town was set up, belonging to the third district.
In February 1918, it belonged to the second district.
In 1938, Lunhe village office was set up.
In 1945, Lunhe district was established.
In October 1946, it was transferred to Tongken county.
In August 1948, Tongken county was withdrawn and transferred to hailun county.
In 1950, it was changed to District 11.
In April 1956, Lunhe town was established.
In November 1958, it merged with Yongle township to form Lunhe commune.
In 1961, some production teams set up Yongle commune.
In 1984, it was changed into Lunhe town.

Lunhe town is located in the southwest of hailun City, on the left bank of Tongken River and on the South Bank of hailun river. It borders Fengshan Township in the East, Yongfu Township in the south, Shuren Township in Mingshui county and Xinghua town in Qinggang County across Tongken River in the west, and Baixiang town in the North. The area is 196.77 square kilometers.

Lunhe town is located in low hills and high plains. The terrain is high in the East and low in the West. It is undulating and uneven. The highest peak is located in taoxiandetun, Donglun village, with an altitude of 199 meters; the lowest point, fengjialiangzi, is located in bianlun village, with an altitude of 98 meters.

Lunhe town has a cold temperate monsoon climate, with long and cold winter; rainy and humid summer; strong wind and less precipitation in spring, prone to drought; sharp cooling in autumn, often frost.
hydrology
There is the boundary river Tongken River in the west of Lunhe Town, and the boundary river hailun river with Baixiang Township in the north. Among them, Tongken river flows through two villages from Yanlun village to bianlun village, with a total length of 15 kilometers and a drainage area of 90 square meters; hailun river flows through delen village, Beilun village and Yanlun village, with a total length of 12 kilometers and a drainage area of 81 square kilometers.
natural disaster
The microclimate changes greatly in Lunhe town. Frost, drought, flood disasters often occur, and tornadoes blow in some years. The most serious one happened on July 31, 1987. Wanghuitun and libazitun in bianlun village of Lunhe town were attacked by tornadoes. The mud thatched cottage was destroyed and the 2-ton thresher was swept away. The gale affected 125000 people in 13 townships, 103 villages, including 12 dead, 158 injured, 1.22 million mu of farmland damaged, 79 large livestock dead, and 200 agricultural implements damaged.

On March 29, 1995, Lunhe town was announced by the Ministry of construction as the pilot town of small town construction (the second batch). In the same year, Lunhe town was designated as a provincial non-state-owned special economic zone by Heilongjiang Province.
