Heshan farm, located in Nenjiang City, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is managed by Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of agricultural reclamation 93. Heshan farm is located in the southern foot of Daxing'anling mountains, Heilongjiang Province, on the Bank of the beautiful Nenjiang River. Its geographical coordinates are: 48 ° 43 ˊ ~ 49 ° 03 ˊ n, 124 ° 56 ˊ ~ 126 ° 21 ˊ E. It is adjacent to ilaha town of Nenjiang city and Laolai town of Nehe city in the south, Qianjin and Changfu township of Nenjiang city in the north, toudaoling forest farm in the East, Qitie farm, Laolai farm and Daxijiang farm in the West. It is 65 kilometers long from east to west and 25.5 kilometers wide from north to south. With a total area of 563 square kilometers and a population of 16206 (2010), it has 16 production companies and is one of the important agricultural and sideline products bases in China.

Construction history

It was built in 1950's, where demobilized officers, soldiers and educated youths from all over the world were enthusiastic about reclaiming wasteland. In June 1968, Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps of the Chinese people's Liberation Army was set up as the 45th regiment of the fifth division. In the spring of 1976, the production and construction Corps was abolished and changed to Heshan farm, which was under the Jiusan agricultural reclamation Administration Bureau of Heilongjiang reclamation area. It is a state-owned farm of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation, and a subsidiary of Beidahuang group.

Topography

Heshan farm is located in the hilly area at the southern foot of Daxing'an Mountains. Its overall shape is long and narrow from north to south, narrow from east to west, and basically strip. The terrain is relatively high, with an average altitude of 267-300 meters. The surface undulation is complex, the area of plain is small, mainly the hills and slopes, and the general terrain is high in the northeast and low in the northwest.

Climatic characteristics

It belongs to cold temperate continental climate and is a typical dry land crop production area. The climate is characterized by windy spring, short and hot summer, rapid cooling in autumn and long and cold winter. The highest temperature is about 36 ℃, and the lowest temperature is about - 38 ℃. The annual accumulated temperature of ≥ 10 ℃ is 2000-2300 ℃, and the frost free period is 115-120 days. The annual rainfall is 500-600 mm, mostly in July and August.

The soil type is mainly black soil, accounting for 65.2% of the total area. The cultivated land is weakly acidic, with pH value between 6.5 and 7.0, and organic matter between 4 and 6%. Suitable for the growth of high quality barley, wheat, soybean and other crops.

The site is rich in water resources. There are 8 rivers flowing through the site, with a total length of 217 km. The farm also has four reservoirs. The underground water level is between 100-200m with good water permeability, which is suitable for planting wheat, bean, beet and other crops.

Heshan farm has a total land area of 854000 mu, including 462000 mu of cultivated land. In 2007, the total sown area was 462000 mu. Among them: Wheat 115710 mu, accounting for 25%; barley 18510 mu, accounting for 4%; soybean 185130 mu, accounting for 40%; kidney bean 72375 mu, accounting for 15.6%; seed corn 30000 mu, accounting for 6.5%; silage corn 15000 mu, accounting for 3.25%; seabuckthorn 7000 mu, accounting for 1.5%; sugar beet 5600 mu, accounting for 1.2%; other 13500 mu, accounting for 2.95% (including: white melon seed 4500 mu, silymarin 1500 mu, Welsh Onion 1500 mu, potato 3000 mu, green onion 1500 mu) Sunflower (3000 mu). Heshan farm has 13 management areas and 1 Agricultural Technology Extension Center (seed company). The total population of the farm is 21600, including 11579 employees, 8587 agricultural employees, 351 managers and 610 technicians, including 90 agricultural technicians, 16 agronomists and 46 assistant agronomists. The farm has production management departments such as production department, agricultural machinery department, Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, seed company, seed processing plant, weather station and other service departments. All management areas and operation areas are equipped with full-time agricultural technicians and agricultural machinery technicians. There are 46 large and medium-sized wheeled tractors, including 2 8420 wheeled tractors, 4 7820 wheeled tractors, 32 M160 wheeled tractors, 73 chain rail tractors and 101 harvesters. 1788 sets of agricultural machines and tools were provided, and the comprehensive mechanization rate of field operation reached 100%. Give full play to ecological advantages and create a green home. Over the years, the farm has continued to adhere to the principle of "playing the green card and taking the characteristic road". Take the development of green food and organic products as the breakthrough point, increase the development efforts, expand the production scale, and take the road of sustainable development of green ecological agriculture. Build the farm into a pollution-free, green and organic agricultural production base. The farm has successively applied for certification of green and organic products and achieved remarkable results. The green product certification area is 101500 mu, including 60000 mu of green soybean, 20000 mu of wheat, 20000 mu of kidney bean and 1500 mu of green onion. Onion is exported to Russia for its excellent quality, rich nutrition and good taste, earning 400000 US dollars. It has passed the certification of international organic organizations, covering an area of 190000 mu. The farm also has more than 60 vegetable greenhouses, forming a pollution-free green vegetable production base, providing people with safe and healthy food. Heshan farm has two grain processing centers and one seed processing plant, with a grain storage capacity of 20000 tons. There are four drying towers in the grain processing center, which can dry 1200 tons of grain per day. It has invested more than 2 million yuan to build 2 sets of seed series processing lines, 4 soybean cleaning machines and 3 seed coating machines. There are flame photometer, 722 spectrophotometer, acidity meter, ventilated kitchen, electric blast drying oven, constant temperature incubator, constant temperature shaker, vacuum pump, platinum clamp pot, Maofu furnace and other soil fertilizer testing instruments in the science and technology experimental community, which can test soil fertility and realize soil testing and formulated fertilization.

Heshan farm has very superior natural resources and good environmental advantages, with 100000 mu of grassland, 180000 mu of mountain forest, a total of 60 million cubic meters of water resources (eight natural rivers pass through the farm, with a flow length of 217 km), and four natural reservoirs with a total storage capacity of 14 million cubic meters, without any industrial pollution. Farm production has now achieved comprehensive standardization of planting, mechanization of the whole process of operation, and all forest network in the field.

On January 2, 2020, Heshan farm was selected into the list of the fourth batch of demonstration counties (cities, districts) that took the lead in basically realizing the whole process mechanization of main crop production in China.
