Historical evolution

In the seventh year of the Republic of China (September 1918), it belonged to Boli County.

In 1931, Boli County was called Boli street.

In 1938, it was changed to bolicheng district.

In 1941, it was changed to Boli street.

In 1945, it was changed into Chengguan District.

In 1951, it was renamed District 1.

In December 1955, it was changed to Boli town.

In September 1958, the town changed into a commune.

In August 1964, six production brigades, including Xi Rongsheng, set up Zhenjiao commune.
