Suyang town

Suyang Township, belonging to Yuanshi County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Yuanshi County, bordering Huaiyang town in the East, Dongzhang Township in the southeast, Zanhuang County in the south, Sucun Township in the West and Zhaotong Township in the north, with an administrative area of 48.05 square kilometers.

In the Qing Dynasty, Suyang Township belonged to Yishe; in 1984, it was changed to Suyang township; in 1996, goubei township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, 25203 people registered residence in Suyang township. As of June 2020, Suyang township has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in goubei village.

In 2011, the total revenue of Suyang township was 13.66 million yuan. The national tax is 10 million yuan and the local tax is 3.66 million yuan. In 2018, there were 25 industrial enterprises in Suyang Township, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 41 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the Qing Dynasty, Suyang Township belonged to Youyi society.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to three districts of Yuanshi County.

In 1937, it belonged to the eastern district.

In 1945, it belonged to five districts.

In 1953, it belonged to a district, goubei township.

In 1956, it was the North Suyang township.

In 1958, the two counties of Yuanshi and Gaoyi were merged into Gaoyuan County, belonging to Gaoyuan County; in December of the same year, Zanhuang county was merged into Gaoyuan county and renamed Yuanshi County, belonging to Chengguan commune of Yuanshi County.

In March 1962, Suyang commune was founded. In the same year, Yuanshi County, Gaoyi County and Zanhuang county were divided into Yuanshi County.

In 1984, it was changed to Suyang township.

In 1996, goubei township was incorporated.
