Shuangfa Township, belonging to Zhaozhou County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located 2 kilometers south of Zhaozhou County, bordering fengle town and Yongsheng Town in the East, Zhaozhou town in the south, Paradise pasture in the West and Xingcheng town in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 152.46 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 23263 (2018).

Shuangfa Township originally belonged to Zhaozhou street. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township and shuangfa township was established. As of October 2019, shuangfa township has six villagers' committees: shuangfa, Shuangyue, Guangming, Zhengda, Jiusan and Heping. The township government is stationed in shuangfa village.

Zhaozhou melon seeds

Zhaozhou big melon seeds are full in grain, without shriveled shell and wormhole. The seed coat is black and yellowish brown. The seed is long and cone-shaped, with a wide end and a narrow end.
