Shuyuan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Dongshan District, Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the western suburb of Dongshan District. It is connected with Beishan street of Xiangyang District in the East, Hongqi Road street of Gongnong District in the south, Helin forest farm of Hegang Forestry Bureau in the West and Hongqi forest farm of Hegang Forestry Bureau in the north, with a total administrative area of 400 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 19172 people registered residence in vegetable garden. As of October 2019, vegetable garden has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises in Shuyuan Township, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 24 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945), it belonged to xinjieji District of Heli county. In October 1948, Yihe village was established in Xingshan city.
In November 1949, it belongs to Hegang City.
In March 1956, Xinyi village, wudaogang farm and Tuanjie agricultural production cooperative of Yihe village were merged into Xinyi Township, and six villages of Yihe, Taiping, Desheng, Xingfa, Sihe and laodugou were merged into Shuyuan township.
In March 1958, Xinyi township was merged into Shuyuan township; in November of the same year, the agricultural production teams of Shuyuan Township were divided into Xingshan, Xishan and xinjieji economic zones.
In 1962, vegetable garden commune was established in the third economic zone.
In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

At the end of 2011, Shuyuan village had 10 administrative villages: Rixin, liming, Hexing, renewal, Qianjin, Xinsheng, Xinjie, Xinfa, Yumin and Shengyuan, and 38 villager groups.
As of October 2019, vegetable garden countryside has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages: Rixin village, Xinsheng village, Yumin village, Liming Village, Hexing village, Xinxin village, Qianjin village, Xinjie village, Xinfa village and Shengyuan village.
