Erdaowan Town, subordinate to Fuyu County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the north of Fuyu County, adjacent to Zhonghou Township and Fuhai Town in the East, Fuyu pasture in the south, Youyi Township in the West and Xingwang Township in Nehe city in the north. It is 19 kilometers away from the county, with a total administrative area of 266.67 square kilometers.
In 1929, it belonged to ningnian township of Longjiang County. In April 1986, Erdaowan township was transformed into Erdaowan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in two Bay towns was 22779. In 2019, Erdaowan town governs 10 administrative villages.
Corn and rice are the main food crops in Erdaowan Town, and sugar beet is the main economic crop. In 2018, Erdaowan town has 2 industrial enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1929, it belonged to ningnian township of Longjiang County. In 1929, it belonged to the four districts of Fuyu fortification Bureau. During the period of puppet Manchukuo (March 1, 1932 to August 18, 1945), it belonged to xingyangbao. In April 1946, it belonged to three districts.
In March 1956, Xinxing township was established.
In September 1958, Xinxing township was transformed into Xinxing commune.
In December 1976, Xinxing commune was renamed Erdaowan commune.
In May 1984, Erdaowan commune was transformed into Erdaowan township.
In April 1986, Erdaowan township was transformed into Erdaowan town.
