Xiguan town

Xiguan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shuangcheng District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, was removed from Tuanjie Manchu Township in July 2014. Xiguan town is located in the center of Western Towns in Shuangcheng district. It has become an important town of agricultural production and a strong town of animal husbandry.

brief introduction

Tuanjie Manchu Township, located in the northwest of Shuangcheng District, belongs to neilu township. It was formed by the merger of Tuanjie Township and Yuejin Township in 2001. In July 2014, the township was removed and Xiguan town was built. It is 30 kilometers away from Shuangcheng City, covering an area of 156 square kilometers, with 14 administrative villages and 37 natural villages. There are 32480 permanent residents (in 2017), with 181770 mu of cultivated land, 26948 mu of woodland, 16800 labor force and 5.5 mu of cultivated land per capita.

Economics

In 2005, the total grain output of Tuanjie Manchu Township (Xiguan town) was 99828 tons, including 1253 tons of beans and 1160 tons of potatoes. The planting area of cash crops is 31000 mu, including 1200 mu of flue-cured tobacco, 20000 mu of vegetables, melons and fruits, and 8000 mu of other cash crops. There are more than 12000 cows on hand, with an increase of more than 1000. Two specialized dairy villages have been built, with 3000 beef cattle on hand, with an increase of more than 1000. The number of laying hens on hand reached 340000, with an increase of more than 50000, and the number of pigs raised reached 30000, with an increase of more than 7000. In 2005, the total social output value of the township will reach 730 million yuan, and the per capita net income will be 4280 yuan. In 2005, Tuanjie Manchu Township (Xiguan town) had 5 township enterprises. Green agricultural products are exported to Russia, Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asia.
