Shitong Township, subordinate to Xingtang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Xingtang County, adjacent to Longzhou town in the East, Development Zone in the south, Zhaiying Township in the West and Shangbei town in the north, with an administrative area of 28.14 square kilometers.
In 1949, the townspeople of the city belonged to the three districts of Xingtang County; on January 19, 1984, it was changed to townspeople of Zuoshi; in January 1996, it was changed to townspeople of the city. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in townships was 24838. As of June 2020, 15 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Tongxiang, and the Township People's government is located in gaojiazhuang village.
In 2018, there were 23 industrial enterprises in Tongxiang City, including 6 above scale enterprises and 56 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, the townspeople of the city belonged to the three districts of Xingtang County.
In 1958, when the people's commune was transformed, it belonged to Xi'an Xiangshe commune, which was the same administrative area of the city.
In January 1962, Zuo Shitong commune was founded, and in the same year, Xingtang County was restored.
On January 19, 1984, it was changed to Zuoshi fellow townsman.
In January 1996, it was renamed City fellow.

At the end of 2011, Shitong Township governed 15 administrative villages: tongshitong, wangshitong, Lishitong, BAISHITONG, zuoshitong, Xinanzhuang, Majiazhuang, gaojiazhuang, dongwaren, xiwaren, Maozhao, donghuotong, xihuotong, dongtazizhuang and xitazhuang.
As of June 2020, Shitong township has 15 administrative villages: Zuoshi village, Lishi village, Wangshi village, Tongshi village, Baishi Village, Majiazhuang village, xitazizhuang village, dongtazzhuang village, donghuotong village, xihuotong village, dongwaren village, xiwaren village, Shanzhao village, gaojiazhuang village and Xinanzhuang village. The Township People's government is located in gaojiazhuang village.

City fellow, formerly known as Lei tou. According to Zuoshi's genealogy, Zuoshi moved to Lizhuang in Ming Dynasty. According to legend, the former site of Leitou village was Shili Changjie, so it was named Shitong. City fellow townspeople's Government in the original left city village named.
