Luquan Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province

Luquan Economic Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as Luquan Development Zone) is a provincial high-tech industrial development zone approved by the provincial government in November 1992. In May 2003, it was approved as a provincial economic and Technological Development Zone by the provincial government. It was renamed Luquan Economic Development Zone in June 2006.

In 2011, it was approved to become Shijiazhuang, China Semiconductor Optical Valley and Shijiazhuang information industry base. There are 30 production enterprises, 5 national and ministerial R & D centers and 2 State Key Laboratories in the base.

The construction of Optical Valley is a major strategic decision to develop strategic emerging industries and promote transformation and upgrading in Hebei Province. The planning area of the optical valley is 100 square kilometers, including 60 square kilometers for the start-up area and the core area. It has initially formed five advantages, including organizational advantages, platform advantages, technical advantages, infrastructure advantages and policy advantages.

Shijiazhuang information industry base

It is one of the "five industrial bases" determined by Shijiazhuang municipal government, the communication and Microelectronics Industrial Park of Hebei Province recognized by Hebei Provincial Department of information industry, and the national semiconductor lighting industrialization base recognized by the Ministry of science and technology.

The development of the development zone has been concerned by the leaders at all levels of the state, province and city. Zhang Gaoli, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, Wang Xiaochu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of human resources and social security, Zhang Qingli, Secretary of the Hebei provincial Party committee, director of the Standing Committee of the provincial people's Congress, Zhao Yong, deputy secretary of the Hebei provincial Party committee, and Zhang Tieying, former vice member of the National People's Congress, have successively come to the development zone to give guidance. Around the Development Zone, national roads and provincial roads are connected, extending in all directions and forming a network vertically and horizontally. From north to south, Heping Road, 307 National Road (Xinhua Road) and Zhongshan Road cross the area; from east to west, Xisanhuan Road, Changsheng street and Cuiping Street run through the area. Beijing Shijiazhuang expressway, Shizhang expressway, Shijiazhuang Taiyuan expressway, Qingyin Expressway and Beijing Shenzhen Expressway pass through the area. There are two entrances and exits of Expressway in the area. Shijiazhuang Taiyuan electrified railway marshalling station and Shijiazhuang west freight station are located in the area. The main roads in the area are respectively connected with the main roads in Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, which is convenient and fast to enter and leave the provincial capital.

There is a surface water plant with daily water supply capacity of 33800 tons in the area, and a total length of more than 10000 meters of water supply and drainage pipelines covering the whole area have been laid; a dual power supply substation with 110 kV and main transformer capacity of 80000 KVA has been built; at the same time, there are two thermal power stations, with a central heating area of 1 million square meters; natural gas pipelines have covered the whole area, with a daily gas supply capacity of 110000 cubic meters.

There are 6 colleges and universities, 7 primary and secondary schools, 2 hospitals above secondary level and 10 community clinics, cuipingshan guest house, Guoyuan Langyi Hotel and Jingye hotel in Hebei Province, which can fully meet the needs of conference, catering, leisure and entertainment, etc., and the living environment of villas and boutique large communities such as Xishan royal garden, poly Xiyue spring, Green Bay, Palm Bay and Xihuan youth meeting is elegant, The supporting facilities are complete.

There are more than 200 natural, cultural and historical landscapes around Baodu village, a national 4A scenic spot, Fenglong mountain, shifangyuan, Longfeng lake, forest park, Longquan Temple and Shijiazhuang zoo.

Hebei Puxing Electronic Materials Co., Ltd.: with the highest level and largest scale super purification plant in China, and international advanced silicon epitaxy, detection and cleaning equipment, it is the largest silicon epitaxy material production base in China.

Luquan development zone is located in the west of Shijiazhuang City, the capital of Hebei Province, with Beijing and Tianjin in the north, Central Plains in the south, Qin and Jin Dynasties in the West and Bohai Sea in the East.
