Banshi street is located in the east foot of Longgang mountain range, the West Bank of Hunjiang River, surrounded by mountains. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The whole area is in the shape of poplar leaf. The main mountains are sifangdingzi mountain, yanglazi mountain and yuanbaodingzi mountain. Sifangdingzi mountain, the highest point in the territory, is 2km to the east of Banshi street, with an altitude of 1218.5m; the lowest point is in sanjianchang community, with an altitude of 554m.

hydrology

The rivers in Banshi Street belong to Hunjiang River system of Yalu River Basin. There are Banshigou River, zhenzhumen River and Shangqing River, all of which flow into Hunjiang River.
