Dongba area

Dongba district (District Office) belongs to Chaoyang District of Beijing. Located in the northeast of the District, 11.7 kilometers away from Ritan Park. It borders Jiangtai area (township) and Dongfeng area (township) in the west, Jinzhan area (township) in the north and East, and Pingfang area (township) and Changying area (township) in the south. The office is located at No. 16, hongsongyuan, Dongba. The development of the tertiary industry is the main part of the economy. Beijing ring railway and Beijing Baotou railway transit.

In 2013, Dongba was planned to be a high-end business and residential area, transforming Dongba, which is located outside the East Fifth Ring Road, from an urban-rural junction to an international business district.

Historical evolution

Ming and Qing dynasties belong to Daxing County. in 1947, it was divided into suburban area 1 (Dongba town), Daxing County and Tongxian county. In 1949, it was a town under the jurisdiction of the 13th district. Later, it was changed into a suburb and Chaoyang District. In 1958, it became part of Chaoyang commune. The next year, it established Sino German friendship commune. In 1983, it was changed into a township. In 1996, it covers an area of 21 square kilometers and has a population of 23000. It governs 9 administrative villages including Dongfeng, Houjie, xibeimen, qikeshu, Shandian, juzifang, dongxiaojing, Sanchahe and Jiaozhuang, and 9 administrative villages including Shandian, qikeshu, Dongfeng, Houjie, juzifang, xibeimen, dongxiaojing, dongbadajie, shandianxi, Xincun, hongsongyuan, gaoyangshu, 16th Bureau of the Ministry of railways, Institute of intraocular lens and Ganggang Window factory, three radio stations, 16 neighborhood committees. In 2002, the township government was stationed in hongsongyuan, with an area of 24.62 square kilometers and a population of 39000. It has jurisdiction over nine administrative villages, namely qikeshu, Shandian, xibeimen, Houjie, Dongfeng, Sanchahe, Jiaozhuang, dongxiaojing and juzifang. In June 2004, a regional office was set up in Dongba township to implement "one set of people and two brands". In 2008, it has jurisdiction over 17 neighborhood committees and 9 administrative villages.

Development prospects
