Xinkailing Township

Xinkailing Township, belonging to Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Jianchang County. It is bounded by Daqingshan in the East and connects with heshangfang Township and hezhangzi Township, huashugouling in the South and Suizhong County and Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County in Hebei Province, and niumashan and kongtaizi Beihe in the Northwest and toudaoyingzi Township, respectively, with an administrative area of 98.82 square kilometers.

In 1936, Xinkailing village was established; in 1984, XINKAILING township was changed. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of new Kai Ling township was 18648. As of June 2020, XINKAILING township has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in huangzhangzi village.

In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises and 34 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in XINKAILING township.

History of construction

In 1936, Xinkailing village was established.

In 1946, the people's Government of XINKAILING district was established, and the county was numbered as the Sixth District.

In 1955, it was incorporated into Lamadong region and divided into three townships within the scope of Xinkailing.

In 1958, after the establishment of the commune, it still belonged to Lamadong commune.

In 1981, Xinkailing commune was established.

In 1984, Kailing township was reformed.

By the end of 2011, Xinkailing Township had jurisdiction over eight administrative villages: Guojia, Baizhangzi, Xinkailing, jueshushu, Qingshan, dongnanzhangzi, shanzhagou and Hongqi, with 108 villager groups and 58 natural villages.

As of June 2020, XINKAILING township has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages: Xinkailing village, luoluoshu village, dongnanzhangzi village, hongqigan village, shanzhagou village, Qingshan village, Baizhangzi village and Guojia village. The Township People's government is stationed in huangzhangzi village of Xinkailing village.

XINKAILING township is located in the southwest of Jianchang County. It is bounded by Daqingshan in the East and connects with heshangfang Township and hezhangzi township. In the south, it borders Suizhong County and Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County in Hebei Province by huashugouling. In the northwest, it borders toudaoyingzi Township by niumashan and kongtaizi Beihe. The administrative area is 98.82 square kilometers.

XINKAILING township is located at the foot of Daqingshan and the upper reaches of Daling River. The flat land is limited, and most of the mountains are barren. The terrain in the area is hilly, with an average altitude of 635 meters.

History and culture

XINKAILING township was originally named Panling. In the past, it could only pass through pedestrians. Later, in 1646, it opened a big car road leading to Hebei and qinglonggangou.

Daqingshan natural scenic spot is located at the junction of hezhangzi Township and Xinkailing Township, Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. It is 1223.8 meters above sea level, extends 3.5 kilometers from north to south, and covers an area of 6 square kilometers. It is known as the "roof of western Liaoning".
