XIAERTAI Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Changtu County, adjacent to Yehe Town, Tiedong District, Siping City, Jilin Province in the East, Quantou town in the south, Shuangmiaozi town in the West and Maojiadian town in the north, with an administrative area of 137.3 square kilometers.

In 1948, it belonged to XIAERTAI Township, Shuangmiaozi District 8, Changtu County; on February 17, 2012, it was changed to XIAERTAIZI town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the next two towns was 17257. As of June 2020, XIAERTAI town has 12 administrative villages.

History of construction

In 1948, it belonged to XIAERTAI Township, Shuangmiaozi District, Changtu County.

In 1961, it was called XIAERTAI commune.

In 1984, it was changed to XIAERTAI township.

On February 17, 2012, it was changed to Ertaizi town.
