Tangmazhai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Liaoyang County, bordering Liuerbao town in the East, Mujia town and Gaotuo town of Haicheng City in the south, Hunhe River in the West and northwest, Taian and Liaozhong counties in the West and xiaobeihe town in the north, with an administrative area of 139.2 square kilometers.

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County; in 1983, it was changed to tangmazhai township; in 1984, it was changed to tangmazhai town. By the end of 2018, 41034 people registered residence in Tang Ma Zhai. As of June 2020, tangmazhai town has 17 administrative villages.

In 2011, the budget revenue of tangmazhai town was 3.69 million yuan. In 2018, tangmazhai town had 25 industrial enterprises and 113 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.

In 1954, the city and county merged into Liaoyang City.

In 1958, Tang Mazhai commune was established.

In 1961, the city and county were divided into Liaoyang County.

In August 1968, it belongs to Shaling district.

In May 1978, it belongs to Shoushan district.

In April 1980, it belongs to Liaoyang County.

In 1983, it was changed to Mazhai Township in Tang Dynasty.

In 1984, it was changed to Tang Mazhai town.
