Wofenggou Township

Wofenggou Township belongs to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province. It is located in the southwest of Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, 29 kilometers away from the county. It borders shaohuyingzi town of Yixian County in the south, Xinmin Town and Dongliang town in the north, and yimatu town across the river in the West. Wofenggou township has a total administrative area of 80.06 square kilometers.

In the winter of 1947, wofenggou township was liberated, belonging to huihaiyingzi District, Tuzhong Zuoqi, beifuyi county. In 1949, Tuzhong Zuoqi government of beifuyi county was abolished, and it was assigned to the 14th District of Fuxin County. In March 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was built. In 1958, the township was merged; in September, the commune was transformed and wofenggou was merged into the paradise commune. Wofenggou commune was set up in 1962, with 10 production teams under its jurisdiction. In 1984, it was changed to wofenggou township. By the end of 2018, 13046 people registered residence in the village of lying wind valley. As of June 2020, wofenggou township has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in wofenggou village.
