Daba town

Daba Town, subordinate to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located 26 kilometers to the east of Fuxin City, adjacent to Shala town in the west, zhaoshugou Township in the north, Furong Town in the south, cangtu Township and Laohe Township in the East. The total area of the town is 202 square kilometers.

In 1961, the commune system was reformed and the Hongqi commune was set up. In 1984, it was changed to Daba township. In 1990, the township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Daba town was 22852. As of June 2020, Daba town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages. Town People's Government in the southern foot of Guanshan dudaiyingzi village.

In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers was 6738 yuan. In 2018, there were 28 industrial enterprises and 64 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Daba town.

Historical evolution

In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the county banner was merged and changed to tumetzuoqi.

In 1945, it belonged to the United Government of tumed Left Banner in Fuxin County.

In 1947, the Daba area was liberated. Six villages to the south of Badaohe were assigned to the Tenth District of Fuxin County, and six villages to the north were assigned to the seventh district of Fuxin County.

In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was built in Fuxin County.

In 1958, small townships were removed and big townships merged.

In 1961, the commune system was reformed and the Hongqi commune was set up.

In 1984, it was changed to Daba township.

In 1990, the township was transformed into a town.

Badaohe, the main river in Daba Town, belongs to Dongsha river system and is the largest tributary in the middle reaches of Raoyang River. It is 16.4 km long and covers an area of 82 hectares. In addition, there are several seasonal rivers, such as nuori River, ermenchuan River and Yuanbao River, all flowing into Badao river.

History and culture

When the township government was established in 1956, Daba town got its name because it was near the station.

famous scenery

Tongji temple is located in the south of Daba Town, 33 kilometers southeast of Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, surrounded by mountains of Yiwulu Mountain. The scenery is unique. According to the records of Fuxin County annals and survey of Manchuria and Jinzhou Province, the temple was built in the early years of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, commonly known as the "small Lamadong Temple". Tongji temple was built in imitation of the architectural pattern of Potala Palace in Tibet. It is like a magnificent rectangular "city" with precipitous carved walls, uneven pavilions, large-scale projects, grand scale and superb art. The temples and halls are scattered in the "city" of more than 8000 square meters. Tongji temple is one of the early temple buildings in Fuxin area in Qing Dynasty.
