Yangyun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Gaizhou City, adjacent to Shizijie town in the East, Wanjialing town of Wafangdian City in Dalian in the south, chentun town in the West and xiaoshipeng Township in the north, with an administrative area of 232.59 square kilometers.

In 1945, it belonged to Xiongyue District of GAIPING County; in 1997, Yangyun township was set up as a town. By the end of 2018, 25277 people registered residence in Yang Yun town. As of June 2020, there are 13 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Yangyun town.

History of construction

In 1945, it belonged to Xiongyue District of GAIPING county.

In 1946, it belonged to Fangshengou township of GAIPING county.

In 1948, it was renamed Badaohe District of GAIPING county.

On October 28, 1949, 2 towns and 24 districts were adjusted to 2 towns and 16 districts.

In July 1950, the district was named after the number, and Yang Yun was named as the fourteenth district.

In 1951, it was divided into eleven districts.

In March 1956, according to the needs of agricultural cooperatives, the county implemented the policy of merging districts to build townships, and changed Baotun Township, shanzui Township, Badaohe Township, and Yangyun township.

In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into chengshanzui Township and Yangyun township.

On October 1, 1958, Yangyun township was transformed into Yangyun commune (located in qidaohe), which has four management areas: Baotun, shanzui, Badaohe and Yangyun.

In May 1961, Yangyun commune had 19 brigades under its jurisdiction.

In 1983, it was changed to Yangyun township.

In 1997, Yangyun township was set up as a town.
