Haiyanghong farm is located in the southwest of Donggang City, Liaoning Province, bordering on the salt farm of Donggang City and Xiaodao village of Pusamiao town in the West. The total area is 17.95 square kilometers, including 15 square kilometers of tidal flat of haiyanghong farm base, 2.24 square kilometers of Xiaodianzi sub farm (located in the south end of Xiaodian town), and 0.71 square kilometers of Wulong fruit farm (located in huangtukan town). 395 (2010). Economic situation

Haiyanghong farm was founded in February 1979. It was jointly invested by the State Ministry of agricultural reclamation and the Provincial Bureau of agricultural reclamation. In the early 1980s, after a large-scale adjustment of the industrial structure, the farm was converted into a shrimp farm by planting rice. With the development of aquaculture industry, the scale of farms has been expanding, some farm run industries have been established, and several enterprises on the verge of bankruptcy have been acquired and merged. By 1993, the farm economy had developed to the best period since its establishment, with more than 10 subordinate enterprises and institutions, nearly 1000 employees, an output value of more than 100 million yuan and a profit of more than 10 million yuan.
After the restructuring of industrial enterprises in 1998 and the subsequent merger of industrial enterprise employees, the farm now governs three grass-roots units, namely aquaculture farm, Xiaodianzi Branch Farm and Wulong fruit farm. The station is located in Gushan Town, 50 kilometers away from Donggang municipal government. The farm has more than 26000 mu of land resources, including 13940 mu of shrimp farms, 1660 mu of paddy fields, 170 mu of freshwater fish ponds, 1600 mu of reed ponds and 700 mu of orchards and mountains. In 2010, the resident population was 395 (2010).

The main industry of haiyanghong farm is aquaculture. Dams, ditches, bridges and culverts, stations and gates and other infrastructure facilities are complete and functional. The annual output of all kinds of aquatic products reaches 5500 tons. The main products are prawn, clam, jellyfish, razor clam and swimming crab. In addition to the domestic market, the products are also exported to Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States. In 2009, the total social output value was 61.47 million yuan and the profit was 1.333 million yuan.
Haiyanghong farm is located at the estuary of Dayanghe River on the North Bank of Yellow Sea. The bottom of the beach is soft, fertile, rich in plankton, and the water quality is excellent. It has resource advantages. The area is adjacent to Dadong port in the East, Dalian city and Heda highway in the west, and the newly-built large-scale marine red fishing port is close to the West. The water and land transportation is very convenient, and it has obvious regional advantages. All kinds of aquatic products produced by the farm are well-known and have market advantages.
Over the years, haiyanghong farm has realized a one-stop production line of aquatic product seedling hatching, breeding production and product processing. Recently, a new sea cucumber seedling incubation plant was built. Jellyfish processing plant is about to start construction. It will also invest 5 million yuan to build a 1500 mu sea cucumber professional farm. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, the sea route of Dalu island will be opened to develop trade and tourism between the two islands. The wetland reserve in the site will be used to build a 10 Li Long Corridor and a 1000 mu fishing park. So that the secondary and tertiary industries have a great development.
