Xiaodianzi town

Xiaodianzi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Donggang City, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Donggang City, with Longwangmiao town in the East, huangtukan town across the river in the south, Gushan town in the West and Heigou town in the north, covering an area of 119.26 square kilometers.

In the early period of the Republic of China and the period of the Northeast occupied by the Japanese, it was subordinate to Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County; on August 2, 1985, Xiaodianzi town was established. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town of Xiao Dian Zi was 23299. As of June 2020, Xiaodianzi town has 1 community and 10 administrative villages.

History of construction

In the early period of the Republic of China and the period of the Northeast occupied by the Japanese, it was subordinate to Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County.

In July 1946, it was put under the jurisdiction of Gushan county.

In May 1948, Xiaodianzi district was established.

In July 1949, it was transferred to Anton county.

In 1956, it was classified as Gushan district.

In 1958, Xiaodianzi township was established by merging the districts and townships. In September of the same year, Xiaodianzi commune was established by merging the townships of Xiaodianzi, Heigou and daziying.

In August 1961, Heigou, daziying and other rural areas were set up by Xiaodianzi commune.

In September 1966, Xiaodianzi commune was renamed Shengli commune.

In 1970, Xiaodianzi commune was restored.

In September 1983, it was changed to Xiaodianzi township.

On August 2, 1985, Xiaodianzi town was established.
