In March 1956, lishizhai township was under the people's Committee of Wanghua District. On December 16, 1978, lishizhai township was assigned to the suburb of Fushun City. On February 15, 1986, Lishi Korean township was transformed into Lishi town. In July 1999, Lishi street was changed. As of June 2020, Lishi street has jurisdiction over 16 communities and 19 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 8 Shun Street, development zone.
