Historical evolution

It was established in Hong commune in 1958 and changed to township in 1983. In 1996, it covers an area of 30 square kilometers and has a population of 26000. It governs 11 administrative villages including Shuangxi, Guojia, Yuhong, Liguan, Zhangshi, Dingxiang, Hongqi, Yaojia, Dongmin, qianmin and xiheping. at the end of 2002, it was abolished in Hongxiang and set up in Hongjie district. The office is located at No. 16 yingwuguan Road, covering an area of 43.1 square kilometers and governing 11 villages. in 2010, the south of Yuhong Street Shenxin road and the east of the Third Ring Expressway, and the south of Beijing Shenyang Expressway and the west of the Third Ring Expressway will be included in the West Third Ring street of Tiexi District. in 2014, the region was adjusted to retain the original Hongqi community, xiheping community, qianmin community, Dongmin community, Shuangxi community and Guojia community, which were included in Yingbin Road street. Quansheng village, Guanghui village, Xingsheng village and Aiguo village of Daxing street were included in Yuhong street. on December 2, 2019, Yuhong Street will be abolished, and the three communities of Dongmin, qianmin and Heping under its jurisdiction and the four villages of Guanghui, Aiguo, Quansheng and Xingsheng will be included in Shaling street; the two communities of Hongqi and Daidai will be included in Yingbin Road street.
