Dongta Street

Dongta street, a street under the jurisdiction of Dadong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Dadong District. It starts from Dongta street in the East, adjoins Xindong street, reaches Chang'an Road in the south, borders Chang'an Street in the west, faces Xiaodong street in the west, and borders the North Canal in the north. In 1978, Chang'an Street was restored, and the part belonging to Dongta street was returned to Chang'an Street. At the same time, a part of Dongta street was set aside to establish Xindong street. In 2010, in a new round of regional division adjustment, Shanlin community of Zhulin street and Chang'an community of Chang'an Street were assigned to Dongta street. As of June 2020, Dongta street has 12 communities under its jurisdiction.

History of construction

At the beginning of liberation, it was the Xingmin street.

In 1958, Xingmin street was changed into Dongta commune. After Dongta commune changed to street.

In 1970, Chang'an Street was divided into two parts, one part was under the jurisdiction of Guancheng street, the other part was under the jurisdiction of Dongta street.
