Jiefang Road
Jiefang Road is a north-south trunk road in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. It is 2949 meters in length and 40 meters in width from Tianqiao Branch Road in the south to the Yangtze River in the north.
Before 1929, the road was originally a series of Tiaoshi streets connecting the north and the south in Zhenjiang city. From south to north, the names of each section are: xiaojiaochang, guanyinlou, dashikou, Sipailou, Gaoqiao, Dingxin street and dajiaochang. In 1929, after the national government established the capital of Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province moved to Zhenjiang. In the first batch of municipal projects, the Tiaoshi street was widened and rebuilt into a modern road

. During the period of Wang Jingwei's government, it was renamed Heping Road, and the name of Zhongzheng road was restored in 1945. After the Communist Party seized Zhenjiang on April 23, 1949, the road was renamed Jiefang Road.
