Sanxing town

Sanxing town is located in the former Sanxing District of Jianyang City, Chengdu, where the district office is located. Located 31 km northeast of Jianyang City, it is one of the secondary towns in Jianyang City and a pilot town for the construction of small market towns. It is adjacent to Tashui town in the East, qinglongguan town in the south, Hongyuan Township in the West and Tonghe Township in the north. It is the political, economic, trade, cultural and exchange center town in the former Sanxing district.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Chengdu to adjust the administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District (cfzm [2019] No. 24): Tonghe Township and Xinxing Township were abolished, and the administrative areas of Tonghe Township and Xinxing Township were put under the jurisdiction of Sanxing town, and the people's Government of Sanxing town was stationed at No. 10 Longdu road.

It was built in 1758. Because of the outside East, West, north three sides have raised hills like stars, known as "Fu, Lu, Shou" three stars, hence the name.

In February 1985, Sanxing town was established with the approval of Civil Affairs (85) No.11 document of Sichuan Provincial People's government.

In December 2019, Chengdu City approved the request for instructions on the adjustment of administrative divisions of some townships (streets) in 15 districts (cities) and counties, including Longquanyi District. Tonghe Township and Xinxing Township were cancelled, and the administrative areas of former Tonghe Township and Xinxing Township were put under the jurisdiction of Sanxing town. The people's Government of Sanxing town was stationed at No. 10 Longdu road.

geographical environment

It is 31 kilometers away from Jianyang City, adjacent to Jintang County, surrounded by mountains and streams, covering an area of 42.13 square kilometers. There are more than 100 large and small Pueraria trees over a hundred years, which has become a unique landscape in the territory.
