Yulin township is located in the north central part of Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province, covering an area of 95 square kilometers, including 5636 hectares of farmland. There are 3700 households and 16000 people in the township.

Yulin Township People's government is located in the boundary of Hongxing Village on the side of Huaide Shuangcheng road. There are 10 administrative villages, 46 natural villages and 74 villager groups in the township. Yulin township has a grain depot, a home for the aged, a credit union, a post and Telecommunications Branch, a agricultural and rural power station, a middle school and 10 primary schools. One police station. corn, soybean, watermelon, beans and potatoes are the main planting industries in the township. 4000 hectares of corn are planted every year, and the yield is about 30000 tons. The area of watermelon is 800 hectares, and the yield is 35000 tons. the township's breeding industry is mainly pig, cattle and chicken raising, with an annual production of 70000 pigs, 20000 cattle, 8000 sheep and 600000 chickens. there are 629 hectares of forest land in the township, with a forest coverage rate of 11.2%. There are 700 individual and private enterprises in the township, including brick factories, wood processing factories, distilleries, shops, restaurants and tofu houses, with 2500 employees.
