Sanchakou Korean town is a town under the jurisdiction of Dongning City, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, with an area of 237.86 square kilometers (2017), accounting for 10 square kilometers of the planned area of the cooperation zone. There are 13 administrative villages with 17115 people (in 2017).

Sanchakou Korean nationality in Dongning city is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province. In 1985, it was withdrawn from the township to build a town. It is a national pilot town for small town construction. In 1999, it was recommended by the Provincial Construction Commission as a national excellent town for small town construction. It is a Provincial Industrial community for developing township enterprises. It is 11 kilometers away from the county seat of Dongning, only separated by a small river from Russia in the East, with a border line of 65 kilometers. It is 54 kilometers away from ussurisk (Shuangchengzi), the largest train marshalling station and heavy industry base in the Far East of Russia. It is 154km away from Vladivostok (Vladivostok), the largest port city in the Far East of Russia; it is adjacent to Hunchun city in Jilin Province in the west, 500m away from the town government in the north, and only 300m away from poltafka port in Russia; the Sino Russian east Poland trade zone approved by the State Council in September 1999 is located near the port. There are 44 square kilometers of the provincial-level agricultural fortress, 5.5 square kilometers of the largest agricultural demonstration area in Russia.

Administrative division and population

The town has 81024 mu of arable land, including 33947.2 mu of paddy field. In 2002, the total income of rural economy of the whole town was 146.59 million yuan; the income of cooperative economic organizations was 60.93 million yuan; the total output value of rural enterprises was 85.66 million yuan; the fiscal revenue was 3.537 million yuan; and the per capita income was 3683 yuan.

Climate. Sanchakou town is known as "the north of the great wall and the south of the Yangtze River". It has a mild climate, abundant sunshine and four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 6 degrees and the annual effective accumulated temperature is 2990 degrees. Among the 13 villages, 11 villages belong to the first accumulated temperature area, with frost free period of 140-150 days and abundant rainfall, with annual average rainfall of 550-600mm.

Agriculture. The town's 71000 mu of arable land is mostly concentrated in the "two rivers" (Suifen River, hubutu River) impact plain, including paddy field area of 35800 mu, fertile soil, pollution-free, rich in access to green food signs of high-quality rice, but also rich in apple, apple pear, apricot, peach and other water fruit, fruit tree area of 6006 mu, also very suitable for peanut, sweet potato, flue-cured tobacco, white melon seed, sweet gourd, zucchini Melon and other economic crops. In recent years, relying on the advantages of the port, our town has built a considerable scale of vegetable export base, with an area of 7000 mu of vegetables, including nearly 1000 mu of greenhouse vegetables, and the annual export of vegetables at the port is 50000 tons.

Sanchakou town was an important distribution center of folk trade among China, Russia and Korea as early as the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. People went to Shuangchengzi and Vladivostok in Russia to engage in folk trade, commonly known as "paoweizi". After the opening of Dongning port in 1990, our town became a window of trade with Russia again. In recent years, Sanchakou town has once again become a hot spot for investment and development by people of insight at home and abroad due to the construction of the Sino Russian Dongbo Trade Zone, the construction of the Zhejiang Industrial Park, the start of the Dongning port reconstruction and expansion project, and the development and restoration of the original Japanese fortress.

Xunshan fortress, which has been developed, is located 7 kilometers south of Sanchakou town. In front of Shenghong mountain and Chaori mountain, the fortress is just a river away from Russia, forming a special military fortress group with a length of 60 kilometers and a depth of 9 kilometers.
