Dongsheng community, Meilu street, Wuchuan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the old urban area of Meilu, Wuchuan City. It was founded in 1964. It covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers and has a total population of 7010. It has 6 resident groups and 29 party members.

Dongsheng community is the early business and cultural center of Meilu. Up to now, many characteristic streets and historical and cultural sites are still preserved in the area, such as liujiaxiang, Zhangzhou street, Shizi street, the former site of Yuanxiao flower tower, and the ancient temple of "Tianhou Palace", a traditional Buddhist cultural site.
