Hongqi community was established in June 2005. It is composed of six natural villages: Xintang, wujiaao, Liujiawan, Xujia, dalingxia and duoao. Located in the southeast of Goushan street and adjacent to Donggang street, dingshen 329 national highway runs through it. The community covers an area of 8.83 square kilometers, with a total population of 4763 and 1352 households.

1、 Community profile

The number of Party members in the community is 149, and there are 45 poor households and low-income families. 17 of them were paired by Goushan street, Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Putuo District aquatic products wholesale market. In the six natural villages of the community, 1795.2 mu of land in wujiaao, dalingxia and duoao have been expropriated by the district government, with 3060 people losing land and 2534 people over 16 years old receiving pension insurance. Among them, 547 have received the minimum living allowance of 80 yuan per month. In 2006, the new cooperative medical insurance rate of farmers in the community was 83.12%.

2、 Development status and advantageous resources

Among the more than 3000 landless farmers in the whole community, most of them have found new ways of employment, mainly engaged in aquatic products processing, woodworking, mud work and other tertiary industries. At present, the employment rate of landless farmers in the whole community is more than 85%.
