Yongsheng Township

Yongsheng township is located in the north of Dongcao in Dazhu County, Dazhou city. It connects Hucheng town of Liangping County in the East, Shiqiaopu in the south, pubao in the West and Anji in the north, 38 kilometers away from the county.

The township covers an area of 48.2 square kilometers, with 9 administrative villages, 88 villager groups and a total population of 14127 (2017).

Historical evolution

Tongluochang was built in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, and it was renamed yongxingchang in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. In 1981, it was renamed "Yongsheng", which means "always prosperous and finally reach the other side of victory".

Woodland area of 22000 mu, rich in white and spotted bamboo.
