Seven Star Town

Qixing Town is under the jurisdiction of Baoshan District, Shuangyashan City. It is located in the east of the city, adjacent to Youyi County in the West and North, and Baoqing County in the East and Southeast. The town government is 37 kilometers away from the city.

The name of Qixing Town comes from the name of Qixing village. Qixingtun got its name because it lived near Qixinghe. Originally under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District of Fujin county. In June 1946, it was put under the jurisdiction of Jixian County and sandaogang district. In March 1956, Qixing township was set up instead of regionalized township. In the autumn of 1958, it was renamed Qixing people's commune. At the end of the same year, it was incorporated into the friendship farm and renamed the eighth field. In 1960, Qixing township was set up in Youyi county. In 1969, it was changed into the eighth battalion of the 18th regiment of the third division of Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps. In 1976, the production and Construction Corps was abolished and the eighth branch of friendship farm was restored. In August 1985, Qixing Town was set up. In December 1987, Youyi county was under the jurisdiction of Shuangyashan City, and in 1990 it was under the jurisdiction of Baoshan District. Qixing Town is located in the southern edge of Sanjiang Plain, which belongs to hilly plain area. The total area of the town is 145 square kilometers, with a cultivated area of 123000 mu. Crops are wheat, corn, soybeans and so on. There are lime factory, repair factory, brick factory and so on. The town has nine villages, including Qixing, Xin'an, wanxingyuan, Jixian, Xinjiu, hajian, Baoan, Xiangyangchuan and Fusheng. At the end of 1992, the total population of the town was more than 10000. The town government is located in Qixing village.
