Yongfeng Township belongs to Huangshan District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It is located in the northwest of Huangshan District, with Taiping Lake in the south, 52 kilometers away from the urban area. It is located in the hinterland of the golden tourist line of "Huangshan Taiping Lake Jiuhua Mountain", adjacent to Qingyang and Jingxian. It is a relay station connecting the scenic spots of Huangshan District with the famous Buddhist mountain Jiuhua Mountain, the former residence of Wang Jiaxiang in Jingxian county and the former site of the New Fourth Army headquarters. History of construction

In May 1949, there were 13 districts in the county, and Jingyang Township belonged to Yangxi district. In February 1950, the county was divided into five districts, and the township still belongs to Yangxi district. In August 1952, Taiping County was divided into five districts and 41 townships. In October 1958, people's communization was implemented. In Taiping County, the township was withdrawn to build a community, and four people's communes were set up, including Xinfeng. Yongfeng Township was changed into a management area, which was subordinate to Xinfeng commune. In June 1961, the scale of the commune was adjusted, and Yongfeng people's commune was rebuilt, which was located in Zhuo village. In June 1963, there were eight districts in the county, and Yongfeng commune was subordinate to Xinfeng district. In December 1964, the district office was abolished. In July 1983, the township and village system was restored, and Yongfeng people's commune was transformed into Yongfeng Township People's government. In December 1983, Taiping County was withdrawn and Huangshan City (county level) was established. In September 1984, the city was divided into five districts, and Yongfeng Township was subordinate to Xinhua District (the district office was located in Xinhua township). In December 1987, Huangshan City at the county level was removed and Huangshan District was established. Yongfeng Township was directly under the jurisdiction of Huangshan District government.

In 1941, Jingyang township was under the jurisdiction of Guzhu, Honglou, Hongtian, zhuocan, Linxia, Linlang, Liangxian, Shangtian, DongZhuo and Zhuohong. In 1944, the rural insurance system was simplified. Jingyang Township governs Zhanzhu, Loutian, Zhuolin, Linlang, Xichu and Donghong. In August 1953, Qingyang township was divided into Hongren and Shuifeng. Hongren Township governs Guxi (guzhuqiao) and Hongtian villages, and Yongfeng Township governs lingshang, Lingxia and Zhuo villages. In March 1955, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Jingyang township of HONGTAIPING County mostly protected the two townships of xianquanren and Yongfeng. Taitai was merged into Yongfeng Township, governing six villages of Guxi, Hongren, Shengsheng, lingshang, Huangqin and Sanyi (Wangwang). In March 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Hongren Township and Yongfeng Township were merged into Yongfeng Township and located in Zhuo village. In June 1961, the scale of the commune was adjusted and Yongfeng people's commune was reestablished. It has five production teams, namely Hongtian, Wenlou, zhuocan, lingshang and Lingxia, and 62 production teams. At the same time, the former Guxi brigade under the jurisdiction of Hongren township was assigned to Xinhua commune, and the former liangkeng village under the jurisdiction of Yongfeng township (i.e. the villagers' groups of Anju SHANGXIA and Xihe in Xinfeng township) was assigned to Xinfeng commune. In 1972, Xiangfu was set up from Wenlou group, with only Xiangfu group and six cattle production teams including Hongtian, Wenlou, zhuocan, Xiangfu, lingshang and Lingxia. In July 1983, the township and village system was restored. Yongfeng Township has six villagers' committees, including lingshang, zhixia, Zhuo village, Hongtian, Zhanglou and Xiangfu, and 57 villagers' groups.
