Sanxing town

Sanxing Town, subordinate to Yi'an County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Yi'an county. It borders on the central town in the East, Hongqi horse farm in the south, Shaowen Township and Fulu town in Fuyu County in the west, and Xinxing town in the north. The town government is 49 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 224.71 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

In the 12th year of the Republic of China (October 1923), after the establishment of Yi'an Administrative Bureau, it was transferred from Lindian county and under the jurisdiction of the third district of the administrative bureau. In 1931, after the fall of Northeast China, it was sanxingbao in Yi'an county. In June 1938, Sanxing village was established. In 1946, Sanxing district was reformed. In December 1950, it was renamed District 6.

In February 1956, it was changed into Sanxing district; in August of the same year, it was changed into township. In September 1958, Qingfeng township was incorporated into Sanxing people's commune. In February 1984, the government and society were separated and changed to Sanxing township. In October 1985, the township was transformed into a town.

History and culture

Name and origin

Sanxing town was originally named Dong'an town. After two bandits, the merchants and civilians moved to the town. In 1930, after the bandits were pacified, Sanxing town was established again. Because of the third rise, Sanxing town got its name.
