Shanquan town

Shanquan town is subordinate to Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the middle and west of Longquan mountains in Sichuan Province, connecting with the surrounding areas. The new and old Chengyu road passes through the town. The town covers an area of 37.46 square kilometers.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Chengdu to adjust the administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District (cfzm [2019] No. 24): Chadian town and Wanxing Township were abolished, the administrative areas of former Chadian town and Wanxing Township were put under the jurisdiction of Shanquan town, and Shanquan Town People's government was stationed at No. 99, middle street, Dongjie community.

With an average altitude of 900 meters, the town is rich in resources and suitable for the growth of a variety of plants. It is a famous hometown of fruits. The white and red juicy peach and the golden loquat are famous both at home and abroad. In 1987, Shanquan town was designated by the Ministry of agriculture as one of the three juicy peach bases in China.

The output value of industrial enterprises in the town was 94.15 million yuan, an increase of 10.96% over the previous year; the enterprise tax was 2.35 million yuan, an increase of 18.68% over the previous year; the total profit of enterprises was 1.37 million yuan, an increase of 18.10% over the previous year; the town's financial revenue was 4.42 million yuan, the industrial and commercial tax was 4.13 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4128 yuan, an increase of 439 yuan over 2003.

Honors

On July 29, 2020, Shanquan town was named as the National Health township (county) in 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
