Dongxing town

Dongxing town is under the jurisdiction of Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the north of Langzhong City, 16 kilometers away from Langzhong City. It is merged with the original Jingxi Township, covering an area of 43.02 square kilometers. It governs 12 administrative villages with 19860 people (2017).

In May 2014, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Dongxing township was abolished and renamed Dongxing town. After the township was removed, the original administrative region remained unchanged.

history

Dongxing town was established in 1950, merged into Wencheng town in 1992 and restored to Dongxing Township in 1994.
