Jincheng Township
Jincheng township is located 30 kilometers southwest of Shuangcheng District, Harbin city. It is bounded by the Lalin River in the south, across the river from Fuyu City, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. It borders Lanling town in the East, Xiqin town in the north, and Handian town in the northwest. Jincheng township is located in Jincheng village, which was originally WUJIATUN. Because there are two wujiatuns in Shuangcheng City, it was renamed Jincheng in 1916.

Jincheng commune was set up by Lanling, Handian and Xiqin communes when the commune team was adjusted in 1961. It was changed into Jincheng Township in 1984. In 1996, it covers an area of 137 square kilometers and has a population of 25000. It has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages including Linhe, Yanhe, Jinhe, Jincheng, Rencheng, Yushu, Aiguo, Huayuan, Jili, Shengrun, Heping, Yongjun, Aimin, etc. In 2000, the population of Wupu was 23913.

Geology and geomorphology
Most of the terrain of the township is flat hillock land, and the soil is mostly black soil. The Lalin river flows through Yanhe, Jincheng, Yushu, Aiguo, Huayuan and other villages, with a total length of 19 kilometers. Along the river, there are grass in dianzi and fish in river bubbles. Friendship canal flows through Jinhe, Jincheng, Qixin, Aiguo, Huayuan, Heping and other villages. The township is rich in water resources and irrigates tens of thousands of mu of fertile land, which is known as the "land of fish and rice". The garden site of Jin Dynasty is located in the garden village of Jincheng town on the Bank of the Lalin river. It is said that it was the garden of Jin Wushu's younger sister 800 years ago. The "garden Daqu liquor" produced by the family has a long history and is well-known both inside and outside the province.
