Dayong town
Dayong Town, belonging to Hulan District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the north of Hulan District. It is adjacent to Shiren town and Kangjin street in the East and Southeast, Xubao Township in the south, Changjiang township of Lanxi County across Nihe reservoir in the west, Changfa town of Suihua across the river in the northwest and Lianhua town in the north. In 2018, the area was 114.08 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 26768.
In 1909, the first year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty, it belongs to the third district of Hedong. During the Republic of China, it belonged to SUPU township (Police District 5). In September 1958, it was changed into a large-scale commune. In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1995, the township was transformed into a town. In October 2019, Dayong town governs nine administrative villages.
