Da'an Town

Daan town is one of the top 100 economic towns approved by Chongqing Municipal People's government. It is located in the east of Yongchuan, 50 km away from the main urban area of Chongqing in the East and 10 km away from the main urban area of Yongchuan in the West.

General situation of the town

It covers an area of 92.46 square kilometers, and the urban built-up area is about 3 square kilometers. The total population is 61400, and the urban population is 22000. The town governs 14 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee. Da'an street, Weixing Lake Street and Chenshi Street are respectively under the jurisdiction of the former administrative areas of Da'an Town, Shuangzhu town and Chenshi town. Da'an sub district office is located at 264 Longxi Avenue, Da'an Town, and Weixing Lake sub district office and Chenshi sub district office are located at the original town government.

Chengdu Chongqing highway and Chengdu Chongqing Expressway run through the whole area. The interchange of Chengdu Chongqing Expressway is 50 km (30 minutes drive) to Chongqing in the East, 60 km to Jiangbei Airport and 10 km to Yongchuan City in the West.
