Evolution of organizational system

In January 2003, the administrative division of Shantou City was adjusted, and the two towns of Waisha and Xinxi in Chenghai City and the east part of Shantou high tech Industrial Development Zone, which is within the scope of Golden Park, were put under the jurisdiction of Longhu District.

In March 2019, Waisha town and Xinxi town will be abolished in Longhu District, and Waisha street and Xinxi street will be established respectively.

In November 2019, three streets will be added in Longhu District, that is, Longteng Street will be set in Zhuchi Street area, Longhua Street will be set in Waisha Street area, and Xinhai Street will be set in xin0xi Street area. The adjusted Longhu District has jurisdiction over 10 streets of Jinxia, Zhuchi, Xinjin, Longxiang, outing, Waisha, Longhua, Xinxi, Xinhai and Longteng. There are 121 Village (neighborhood) committees in the District, including 33 village committees and 88 community neighborhood committees.

administrative division

Longhua Street: with a total area of about 12.45 square kilometers, it governs 8 administrative villages. Longhua Street office is located on the Bank of Xinjin River, Yuanyuan road.

Longhua Street area is bounded by Waisha road and Waisha street in the East, Yingbin Road and Yuanyuan road in the west, paigou road in Kexi and Fengzhou road in the back, Xinxi street in the south, outing street and Longxiang street in the west, and Chaoan District in Chaozhou City and Chenghai District in Shantou City in the North, with a total area of 12.45 square kilometers.

It has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages, namely Huaxin, Huabu, Fengmei, Longtou, Xiacai, Fengjiao, Nanshe and Daya, with a population of 37769 and 2540 immigrants.

Politics

Lin Dingliang, Secretary of the Longhu District Party committee, put forward requirements and directions for the "top leaders" of the new streets. We should persevere in strengthening refined management, creating a civilized city, comprehensively complete the task of poverty alleviation, speed up the construction of beautiful villages, speed up the rural domestic sewage treatment and the coverage of rain and sewage diversion system, and start Waisha and Xinxi water supply pipes Network transformation.
