Tai'an Township

Tai'an Township, subordinate to Dongxing District, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, is located at 20km of neigao highway. It manages 1 community, 11 administrative villages, 88 villager groups, with a total population of 6927 (2017), including 70 individual businesses, 1 credit cooperative, 1 grain management office, 1 health center, 1 waterworks, 1 fair market and Tai'an central school.

In December 2019, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Tai'an township was abolished and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Tianjia town. The people's Government of Tianjia town was stationed at 71 old street.

geographical position

Altitude: 372m. It is surrounded by Liuqiao, Tianjia, Xindian and Gaoliang. Covering an area of 40.99 square kilometers, the township is rich in rice, corn, sweet potato, peanut, rape, etc., and its breeding industry is mainly pig, cattle, sheep and small poultry. Township enterprises produce machine bricks and agricultural products processing.
