Xinzhi town is located in the south of Huozhou City, 10 kilometers away from the city. It is the South Gate of Huozhou City, bordering taotangyu Township in the East, Fenxi County in the west, Hongdong County in the south, and Nanhuan street in the north. It has a total area of 53.9 square kilometers, 20 administrative villages, 23 natural villages, 5293 agricultural households, 55617 people (2017), and 24026 Mu cultivated land.
