Yaozhai town

Yaozhai Town, located in the southwest suburb of Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, was established in May 2015, under the jurisdiction of yaojiazhai, hejiaya, caojiabao and other administrative villages. The territory has beautiful scenery with an average altitude of 1180 meters, including yaozhaigou, Leigu mountain and other scenic spots.

Evolution of organizational system

Before liberation, it was a part of Longjiang Town, Xiguan town and old urban and rural areas. In 1950, there were four townships in Jiucheng, Wufeng, Huangyu and Liugou, which were under the jurisdiction of Chengguan District. In 1955, Liugou township was merged into the old urban and rural areas, Huangyu was merged into Wufeng Township, which was under the jurisdiction of Hanwang district. He was incorporated into Bailong commune in 1958, established yaozhai commune in 1961, renamed suburban commune in 1966, and changed to suburban township in 1983. In 1996, the suburban area was 185.3 square kilometers, with a population of 26000. in 2015, Jiangnan streets were set up in suburban areas. in may 2015, suburban township was abolished and yaozhai town was established.

Yaozhaigou scenic spot has a long history and deep cultural heritage. It has not only the simple customs of the ancient Qiang and Tibetan Nationalities, but also the ruins of the ancient Qiang nationality. In the scenic area, the mountains are emerald, the forest is dense, the waves are rippling, the waterfalls are flowing, the rocks are standing, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. It can be called the paradise of yaochi. This is another original eco-tourism resort in Northwest China with "spring outing, summer summer, autumn fog and winter snow". It is known as "Jiuzhai" in Shu and "yaozhai" in long. According to the natural features of the valley, it can be divided into Qinglong mountain, Shanghuang mountain, Leigu mountain, Mashan mountain, Liugou mountain and "yaochi paradise" main scenic area. The main scenic area is composed of six parts: Lake, characteristic garden, waterfall, farmhouse, special breeding and ethnic folk tourism. It is connected with qianba grassland and Wanxiang Cave Scenic Area through a tourism circle, forming a 1-3-day Wudu tourism circle. Qinglong mountain, a famous Buddhist and Taoist resort, looks like a crouching dragon. There are many temples on the mountain. According to the inscriptions, the hall was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. In the distance opposite to Qinglong mountain is a large-scale and fragrant courtyard - caojia temple. Caojia temple was built in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Qing Dynasty. In the upper Yellow River scenic area, there are beautiful mountains and rivers, waterfalls and pearls, stone forests and winding sutras. It's like swimming in a painting. Mashan scenic spot is only one beam away from Shanghuang, where pines and cypresses are hidden, green and dripping, nine eyes of Longquan spit pearls and jade, weeds and wild flowers are colorful. The main peak of Leigu mountain is 3600 meters above sea level. The mountain has four seasons, three miles and different days. The biological community level is clear. You can pick wild flowers in spring, listen to the pines in summer, enjoy red leaves in autumn and taste mountain treasures in winter. It is an excellent place for Wudu tourism.
